The widely popular show Bridgerton has given audiences an enchanting glimpse into the world of royalty, complete with opulence, etiquette, and romance. From ball gowns to aristocratic parties and stolen glances – the series gives a sneak peek into the Regency era in England.
If you’re a Bridgerton fan, you’d know that the series is primarily filmed in England, alongside a mix of historic 18th-century locations in Bath and grand stately homes around London, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire.
If you want to live your Bridgerton fantasies, you can actually stroll through the country Bridgerton-style, visit these iconic locations, and soak in a little royal fantasy along the way.
Greenwich
In the series, the Bridgerton family home is actually the exterior of Ranger’s House in Greenwich. The elegant Georgian red-brick mansion, adorned with cascading wisteria, perfectly captures the grandeur and refinement of the Bridgerton world.
Today, the historic building also functions as an art gallery and houses the celebrated Wernher Collection, making it a must-visit location for Bridgerton enthusiasts.
Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire
The grand interiors of the Bridgerton family home, including the massive hall and spiral staircase, are filmed at Halton House in Buckinghamshire. The mansion is a must-visit, as it is a Grade II-listed building and was once used as the main officers’ mess for RAF Halton.
The Bridgerton family’s country home, Aubrey Hall, is filmed at Wrotham Park in Hertfordshire. Spread across 2,500 acres, the estate is shown as the family’s countryside retreat. Moreover, the vibrant lime green interiors of the Featherington household are filmed at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire.
The historic Grade I-listed country house was built in 1611 by Robert Cecil. The one-of-a-kind building is also used as the setting for the gentlemen’s club frequented by the Bridgerton brothers.
Bath
The exterior of the Featherington family home is filmed at the Royal Crescent in Bath, one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks. You can also step inside No. 1 Royal Crescent, which is now a townhouse museum offering an immersive glimpse into the Regency era life.
Moreover, the exteriors of Lady Danbury’s elegant residence are filmed at the Holburne Museum of Art in Bath, known for its striking cream facade and pillars. On the other hand, the interiors of her home were filmed at Badminton House in Gloucestershire and Wilton House in Salisbury.
East Molesey and Westminster
During Anthony Bridgerton’s lavish wedding to Edwina Sharma, the places that appeared to be set at Buckingham Palace and St James’s Palace were actually filmed at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey.
On the other hand, the interiors of the Queen’s royal residences in the series were filmed at Lancaster House in Westminster, London. Located on the Mall, this government building is used to represent spaces such as the Queen’s parlour, drawing room, and jewellery room.

The best time to visit is during spring or early summer, when the gardens are in full bloom. This is when the locations feel closest to what you see in the series.
